"I believe that art should exist not only in museum spaces, but also should be a part of our everyday life. Based on this assumption, I create unique functional sculptural forms that will complement any interior"

About ME
Hello, I'm Marta - the creator of Kovalska ceramics studio. Art and design have always been close to me. I studied art in four countries, traveled a lot, everywhere I learned new, local, adding it to my own sense of aesthetics.
In 2019, I had the opportunity to work with ceramics for the first time. Since that moment, ceramics has become my primary medium, offering me endless possibilities for creative expression.
Now, I live in Gdańsk, Poland, where I’ve established a cozy and inviting studio. In 2022-2023, I led group classes for children, helping them explore their creativity through clay. Currently, I offer private lessons for both adults and children in my studio, allowing for a more personalized teaching experience. I am also eager to collaborate within the fields of design and art, seeking new opportunities to merge these disciplines in innovative ways.
In 2023, I had the honor of participating in the prestigious "1000 Vases" exhibition during Paris Design Week, an event that celebrates the art of contemporary vase-making. This experience reinforced my love for creating one-of-a-kind pieces, ensuring that each vase I make is unique and meaningful.
I’m dedicated to the idea that art should not only belong in galleries, but also be woven into the fabric of everyday life. This belief is the foundation of my philosophy and is encapsulated in the phrase, "Your daily art fix," emphasizing that beauty and creativity can enhance our daily routines and surroundings.
